Regex101 Enterprise License Agreement (Self-Hosted)

1. Grant of License​

Subject to an active subscription and compliance with this agreement, regex101 ApS grants the customer a non-exclusive, non-transferable, time-limited license to install and use Regex101 Enterprise in a self-hosted environment for internal business purposes.

There are no usage, user, seat, node, or instance limits imposed by this license, except where explicitly agreed in writing in an individual contract or order form.

2. License Term​

The license is granted on a yearly subscription basis.

  • The license is valid for the subscription period paid
  • Continued use requires timely renewal
  • Upon expiration or termination, the customer must cease use of the software

3. Permitted Use​

The customer may:

  • Deploy the software within its own infrastructure
  • Use the software for internal business purposes
  • Operate a single environment per license

4. Restrictions​

The customer may not:

  • Redistribute, sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or otherwise make the software available to any third party
  • Provide access to the software outside the legal entity that purchased the license
  • Offer the software as a hosted, managed, or commercial service

This license applies only to the customer that purchased the license.

5. Modifications and Changes​

regex101 ApS reserves the right to:

  • Modify, update, or change the software at any time
  • Change licensing terms for future versions or subscription renewals

Such changes do not retroactively affect an active, paid subscription period.

6. Intellectual Property​

All rights, title, and interest in the software, including all intellectual property rights, remain with regex101 ApS.

This agreement grants a limited right to use the software and does not transfer ownership.

7. Support​

Support services, if any, are provided separately and are not implied by this agreement.

8. Warranty Disclaimer​

The software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability​

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, regex101 ApS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the use of the software.

10. Termination​

This agreement terminates automatically if:

  • The subscription expires without renewal
  • The customer materially breaches this agreement

Upon termination, all use of the software must cease.

11. Governing Law​

This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
