Deployment and privacy
regex101 runs on your hardware. Your patterns, test strings, saved workspaces, and accounts stay within your deployment.
During normal operation, external communication is limited to license validation and configurable version checks, unless you enable an external sign-in provider.
Air-gapped installations are supported. See offline installation for setup requirements.

License scope
This section summarizes the license agreement.
A standard license covers one running instance and the individual users specified on the invoice. User counts are not concurrent-session limits. The license covers internal use by the named legal entity, subject to the agreement's contractor provisions.
Unlimited users do not automatically include additional instances, affiliates, embedding, third-party hosting, or commercial parser distribution rights. Discuss those requirements before purchase.
Licenses last one year and do not renew automatically. Continued use after expiry requires renewal. Read the license agreement for the complete scope and terms.
Updates and support
You choose when to deploy updates. Version checks can report a newer release but do not install it. Plan updates and recovery before the first rollout.
The agreement states a reasonable-effort initial response target of five Danish business days. This is not a guaranteed SLA.
